Specialising in audio engineering and cinematic colour grading the elements that give films clarity, depth, and emotional impact. Douglas Media has been a trusted creative partner on the Sunshine Coast, QLD for over a decade, delivering high-quality sound design and visuals.
Qualified at SAE (School of Audio Engineering) over 30 years ago, I bring experience across from live sound, studio, and film production driven by a passion for the details that are often forgotten or pushed aside in productions of any size.
When a project requires full scale production, I can draw on a trusted network of film and video professionals, producers, director, actors, makeup, set designers and script writers to manage the process from concept to delivery. Don’t need a team this large, thats fine we tailor to your needs.

Colourist - Colour grading images
A great image starts in the camera but it truly comes alive in the grade. Colour grading is where emotion, depth, and focus are shaped, transforming a flat 2D image into a rich, cinematic 3D illusion. Through contrast, colour, and light, I guide the viewer’s eye and enhance the story frame by frame.
As a colourist, my role is to make images pop with purpose elevating mood, reinforcing narrative, and giving each project a polished, professional finish. When colour is done right, the image doesn’t just look better… it feels more real.
